Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy- far from being just an anti-aging tool. This Hyperbaric medicine may also be an effective complimentary therapy for Long Covid, Stroke, Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Autism, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Lyme Disease, Dementia, Diabetes, Neuropathy, Arthritis, Ulcerative Colitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn’s Disease and more.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is also recognised as an effective tool in speeding up the healing process after any injuries and surgery.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a simple, painless and non-invasive therapy which provides body and face with extra oxygen naturally and with minimal side effects.

HBOT aids in promoting collagen activation to battle the signs of ageing including skin damage and elasticity. The studies have demonstrated the HBOT provides cellular aid to all organs in the body promoting health and beauty.

HBOT has been approved as a treatment by the NHS for many conditions and evidence also exists for those conditions that have not yet been approved.

Our Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber is a premier medical device which delivers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to our clients. This safe method of delivering more oxygen to the body is performed by the chamber under pressure. It means that our body can absorb 100% of the oxygen rather than 21% of the oxygen we usually take in by breathing, thereby allowing the body’s faster natural way of healing in a controlled atmospheric pressure chamber.

During HBOT session, the pressure allows extra oxygen to be absorbed and transferred from the lungs into the blood, delivering a greater saturation of blood oxygen levels. The increased oxygen gets to reach the areas where circulation was previously blocked or diminished, this process can potentially enhance tissue repair and regeneration whilst at the same time giving its potent anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects by having a positive influence on white blood cells, allowing new blood vessels to grow faster and therefore aiding the body in its own healing activity.

Lack of oxygen and blood circulation together with inflammation makes it hard for cells to produce the energy necessary for repair, regeneration and keeping our body healthy and functioning properly. HBOT accelerates positive physiological, biochemical and cellular processes; it is the safest and most trusted way to increase oxygen levels throughout all cells, organs and all systems of the body.

Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have proved that Hyperbaric Oxygen raises the production of stem cells in the body by around 800%. We know that stem cells have a key function in the healing activity, repairing your body tissues and organs.

Medical studies have also shown HBOT to benefit age related diseases by providing cellular aid to all organs hence some physicians utilise it to help treat Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Coronary Heart Disease, Macular Degeneration, Arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy has been medically reported to achieve healing from injury and surgery, it shortens healing time of ligament and tissue and reduces inflammation.

· Some people may be too big or too tall to enter the chamber, please contact us if you have any concerns in this area.

· If you have had pneumothorax then HBOT is not suitable.

· If you are pregnant.

· If you have any implanted device such as a pacemaker or an insulin pump, then using HBOT also may not be possible.

· You must be able to give consent for the hyperbaric oxygen therapy, we will not be able to treat anyone aged under 16 or anyone with severe cognitive impairment.

· You cannot use HBOT if you have recently had a perforated ear drum.

· You cannot have botulinum or fillers for two weeks before HBOT.

· If you suffer with claustrophobia, then this hyperbaric oxygen therapy may not be suitable for you.

Can HBOT reduce the signs of ageing?

HBOT may be used for anti-ageing effects, treatment times and pressures are more bespoke to each person. The following article explains how HBOT can reverse biological ageing. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/11/201120150728.htm
